Helping young people flourish
For children and young people Scouting is about fun and adventure, new experiences and making friends. And that is the magic of Scouting – its attributes help young people to flourish, to grow in all facets of development and become better people and citizens in their communities.
The core of Scouting is the Scout Method. We invite you to read about the Scout Method.
UNESCO recognises Scouting as non-formal education. Our structured program through progressive age groups provides all-round personal development for children and young people through six separate areas of personal growth. To learn more, start by reading Developing Young People.
