Scouts WA Heritage Centre
We are looking forward to seeing lots of people at Swanilee this year. Come and see us to learn about our interesting historical Scouting displays as well as competitions of ‘Guess How Many Badges in the Jar’ and ‘Guess How Many Badges on the Shirt’
We are raffling a WA District Badge folder with some now unobtainable and very collectible District Badges.
There will be badges and books for sale as well as our famous Teddy Bears who will all be looking to be adopted into new homes. So, as they say, “Come on Down!”
Scouts WA Heritage Centre is looking for volunteers!
The Scout Heritage Centre is looking for people who have a love of books and are concerned for their preservation. We have hundreds of books, newspapers that require indexing, cataloguing, and archive storage.
If this type of work interests you, and you would like to volunteer some time to assist with preserving our history. Please contact Geoff Brade (Curator) at the Scout Heritage Centre of WA in Kenwick on 08 6240 7722 or by email at heritage@scoutswa.com.au
