Volunteer and Mentor Roles
At Scouts WA, Volunteers and Mentors are pivotal in delivering all aspects of our Youth Leading Adults Supporting Program.
Volunteering with Scouts WA is about more than just showing up. Our organisation’s purpose is to make a positive difference in the lives of our youth members.
As a Volunteer with Scouts WA, you get the opportunities, training and support to be able to contribute meaningfully towards the development of youth. Our volunteers engage on a deeper level with their local community and participate in activities and events designed to create positive and lasting change. You’ll also enjoy a range of fun and challenging new experiences with an amazing group of people.
In 2021-22, our volunteers, 678 Scouts WA Leaders, supported 5282 young people in WA and delivered the Youth Program.
These Leaders were further helped and guided by 179 Program Support Leaders.
Over 13,404 youth development opportunities for children and young people were created, provided, and successfully run across WA.
More than 1,414,800 hours of volunteering contributed to the development, mentoring, support and delivery of Scouts WA’s Youth Leading Adults Support program last year.
This is an incredible achievement we are proud to share with you.
