Scouts Personal Development Course April 2025

Eligibility – Scouts, Training Team Members.
Max numbers – 36 participants

Leadership and personal development are important parts of not only growing as a person but also the Scouting program. Courses give Scouts opportunities to talk with others who are following a similar path.

Leadership and personal development courses assist Scouts to:

• Learn personal and leadership skills
• Become active citizens
• Learn new ways of thinking or approaches
• Confirm learning from experiences
• Share with peers
• Reflect on individual leadership experiences and development

Leadership and personal development courses will cover some or most of the following concepts:

• Problem solving
• Communication
• Task management
• Leadership
• Planning
• Community involvement

This course is designed for the Scout who has obtained their milestone 1 and Scouts who are aged 12 years or older would get most benefit from this course.
For Scouts who are trying to achieve their ASA then this course needs to be done before the turn 14 so they then have time to finish off the various components needed.

Cost is $50 per youth.
