Lead the systems that help Scouts WA events, equipment, and facilities run smoothly across the state. Working with a team of dedicated volunteers, you will help ensure young people and volunteers have the resources they need to deliver great Scouting experiences.

In this role, you will provide leadership across the Rangers, Quartermaster, and Assets and Infrastructure teams. You will help improve how logistics support is planned, coordinated, and delivered while supporting volunteers to succeed in their roles.

You will work closely with leaders, event teams, Districts, Groups, and Head Office staff to build practical solutions that remove barriers, improve efficiency, and support the continued growth of Scouting in Western Australia.

Why This Role Matters

Strong logistics systems are essential to delivering safe, successful Scouting activities. This role helps ensure volunteers have access to the equipment, facilities, and support they need so they can focus on delivering quality experiences for young people across Scouts WA.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Lead and support the Rangers, Quartermaster, and Assets and Infrastructure teams.
  • Develop and improve logistics systems that support events, equipment management, and facilities.
  • Work with Groups, Districts, and event teams to identify needs and improve operational support.
  • Help ensure equipment and facilities are safe, well maintained, and available when needed.
  • Provide strategic advice on logistics, risk management, and future planning to support organisational growth.

We Encourage You to Apply

We encourage you to apply, even if you don’t think you tick every box. Research consistently shows that people often rule themselves out of opportunities because they don’t meet every listed criterion. Scouts WA is looking for enthusiastic, capable people who are willing to learn, contribute and grow. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

You will not be expected to know everything from day one. You will receive guidance, support, and opportunities to build your skills and grow in the role.

We are looking for people with the right attitude and strong organisational skills. Professional experience is welcome, but practical skills developed through work, volunteering or personal projects are also valuable.
