Help volunteers grow, develop, and remain engaged throughout their Scouting journey. This role focuses on ensuring adult volunteers feel supported, recognised, and connected to meaningful opportunities that match their skills and aspirations.

Working closely with Group Leaders, District Commissioners, and volunteer engagement teams, you will help create clear development pathways, support leadership growth, and remove barriers that prevent volunteers from progressing within Scouts WA.

You will play an important role in strengthening volunteer retention by helping people build their skills, move into new opportunities, and continue making a positive impact on young people through Scouting.

Key Focus Areas: 

• Support volunteers to understand and navigate leadership, training, and development pathways.
• Work with leaders across Scouts WA to identify and support volunteer development opportunities.
• Monitor volunteer engagement and help address barriers that affect retention and progression.
• Improve systems and processes that track volunteer development, qualifications, and progression.
• Promote recognition of volunteer achievements, milestones, and contributions across the organisation.
