At Scouts WA, we help young people discover what they’re capable of.

Every week, thousands of young people across Western Australia take part in adventures, learn new skills, build confidence, and form lifelong friendships through Scouting. Supporting those experiences is a dedicated network of volunteers, alongside a small team of staff working behind the scenes to keep the organisation running.

The role of Scouts WA Head Office is to support Scouting across the State. We provide services and expertise that help local Scout Groups focus on delivering great programs for young people. Depending on the role, this may involve supporting members, managing finances, coordinating events, maintaining campsites and facilities, delivering communications, developing systems and processes, or providing administrative support.

Working at Scouts WA is about more than completing tasks. Much of our work involves collaborating with volunteers, supporting leaders, and working with stakeholders from across the organisation. Building relationships, listening to different perspectives, and finding practical solutions are important parts of many roles.

Scouting is a large and diverse movement. Decisions often involve consultation and cooperation between staff, volunteers, and leadership teams; the people who thrive here are often those who are patient and adaptable.

While every role is different, a shared commitment to supporting young people sits at the centre of what we do. The work happening at Head Office may not always be visible to the members attending a weekly Scout meeting, but it plays an important role in helping Scouting grow and succeed across Western Australia.

We welcome people from a broad range of backgrounds and experiences. Whether your expertise is in administration, customer service, finance, marketing, property, outdoor recreation, membership support, or another field entirely, you may find an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution.

If you’re looking for work where relationships matter, where collaboration is valued, and where your efforts help create opportunities for young people across WA, we encourage you to explore our current vacancies.
