Are you ready for JOTA-JOTI 2026?

Who will you meet this year? Where in the world will your next conversation take you?

JOTA-JOTI is the world’s largest Scouting event, bringing together more than two million Scouts and Guides across the globe for one unforgettable weekend. It all began back in 1957 with amateur radio, connecting young people across borders. Today, it blends radio and digital technology, giving you more ways than ever to take part.

In 2026, JOTA-JOTI will take place from 16–18 October.

For one weekend, Scouts from over 175 countries jump online and on air to share stories, ideas, and experiences. It’s a chance to connect with people you’d never normally meet, hear what life is like on the other side of the world, and see how Scouting looks in different cultures.

This year’s event continues to focus on young people shaping the future. You’re not just taking part, you’re part of something global.

What can you do?

JOTA-JOTI isn’t just about chatting, it’s about getting involved.

You might:

  • Jump on amateur radio and speak to Scouts across the world
  • Take part in online challenges and live activities
  • Explore coding, communications, and digital technology
  • Work towards Milestones or tie activities into your Special Interest Areas

If you’re into STEM, problem-solving, or just curious about how things work, this is your weekend.
