Help shape the Venturer Scout experience across Western Australia. You will work with the Youth Commissioner(s) | Venturer Scouts, Branch Advisor | Venturer Scouts and the Branch Venturer Scout Team to support Unit Councils, youth leadership and meaningful youth participation.
You will also help plan, coordinate and run Branch Venturer Scout events and activities, giving Venturer Scouts opportunities to lead, contribute and build an active, inclusive and engaging community.
Why This Role Matters
This role helps ensure Venturer Scouts have meaningful opportunities to lead, contribute to decision-making and take part in high-quality activities. By supporting Unit Councils and youth-led events, the team strengthens participation, engagement, recruitment, retention and progression across the Venturer Scout Section.
Key Focus Areas:
- Support Unit Councils to plan and deliver engaging Venturer Scout programs and activities.
- Promote and support the Scout Method and Areas of Personal Growth within the Venturer Scout Section.
- Plan, coordinate and run Branch Venturer Scout events and activities, including youth-led event committees.
- Support Venturer Scout Youth Forums and other opportunities for young people to contribute and participate.
- Support recruitment, retention, participation and transition between Scouts, Venturer Scouts and Rovers.
