Snorkelling Skills Session – UWA
Eligibility – Scouts, Venturer Scouts, Rover Scouts
Max numbers – 20 participants (minimum of 4 participants required)
Skill Stations: Participants move through guided activities such as fitting and clearing masks, mastering the “blast method” for clearing snorkels, and practicing efficient finning techniques.
Safety Training: Instructor lead briefings on water safety, buddy systems, and underwater hand signals.
Provided: masks, snorkels and fins, though participants are allowed to bring their own if suitable.
The Activity will begin with a briefing and end with a review. Participants are required to wear a rashie and boardies.
Cost: Entry fee to pool – $7.20, participants MUST visit the Aquatic Office to pay gate entry before they enter the water. Pool staff will cross reference their head count with the number of gate entries taken each session.
Pool entry for dry adults is free.
