Help young people explore their creativity, imagination, and self-expression through art. Open to Scouts, Venturer Scouts, Rover Scouts, and Adult Members, this role supports the development of engaging visual arts activities that inspire young people to learn new skills, express themselves, and discover their creative potential.
Working alongside the Visual Arts Team, youth leaders, and volunteers from across Scouts WA, you will contribute ideas, develop resources, and help deliver creative activities and projects. Whether your interests include drawing, painting, photography, design, digital art, sculpture, or other creative pursuits, your skills can help bring exciting opportunities to young people.
This is a flexible and rewarding opportunity to be part of a creative team that helps young people build confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills through the Scout Program. It is a great opportunity for youth and adult members to contribute at a Branch level while developing their own leadership, teamwork, and project skills.

- Contribute ideas, resources, and creative solutions that encourage participation in the Creative Challenge Area.
- Assist with visual arts activities and displays at Branch and State events.
- Work collaboratively with the Visual Arts Team to develop engaging resources and opportunities for Leaders and youth members.
- Share creative skills and knowledge that help young people explore and develop their artistic talents.
We Encourage You to Apply
We encourage you to apply, even if you don’t think you tick every box. Research consistently shows that people often rule themselves out of opportunities because they don’t meet every listed criterion. Scouts WA is looking for enthusiastic, capable people who are willing to learn, contribute and grow. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
You will not be expected to know everything from day one. You will receive guidance, support, and opportunities to build your skills and grow in the role.
We are looking for people with the right attitude and strong organisational skills. Professional experience is welcome, but practical skills developed through work, volunteering or personal projects are also valuable.
Ready to Apply?
Youth Members (Scouts, Venturer Scouts, and Rover Scouts) are encouraged to apply.
