Help shape how Scouts WA is seen by members, volunteers, families, and the wider community. This role leads the development of marketing strategies, campaigns, and brand resources that promote Scouting, strengthen community awareness, and support the growth of the organisation.

Working with volunteers, staff, and teams from across Scouts WA, you will coordinate marketing activities, provide leadership on brand standards, and ensure that campaigns and resources present a consistent and professional image of Scouting.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence how Scouting is promoted across Western Australia, helping attract new members and volunteers while building trust, engagement, and recognition in the community.

Why This Role Matters

A strong and consistent brand helps people understand the value of Scouting and encourages them to get involved. This role helps ensure Scouts WA presents a clear, professional, and welcoming image that supports recruitment, engagement, and the long-term success of the organisation.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Lead the development and delivery of marketing plans, campaigns, and promotional initiatives that support Scouts WA priorities.
  • Maintain and strengthen the Scouts WA brand across digital, print, events, merchandise, and communications.
  • Approve and support the development of branded templates, resources, and marketing materials.
  • Work with volunteers, staff, and stakeholders to coordinate marketing support for recruitment, events, and major initiatives.
  • Provide practical advice, tools, and guidance that help maintain consistent branding across Regions, Districts, and Groups.

We Encourage You to Apply

We encourage you to apply, even if you don’t think you tick every box. Research consistently shows that people often rule themselves out of opportunities because they don’t meet every listed criterion. Scouts WA is looking for enthusiastic, capable people who are willing to learn, contribute and grow. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

You will not be expected to know everything from day one. You will receive guidance, support, and opportunities to build your skills and grow in the role.

We are looking for people with the right attitude and strong organisational skills. Professional experience is welcome, but practical skills developed through work, volunteering or personal projects are also valuable.
