Help tell the stories that connect, inform, and inspire members across Scouts WA. This role develops engaging content that highlights the impact of Scouting, keeps members informed, and supports the organisation’s communication and engagement goals.

Working with volunteers, staff, young people, and subject matter experts from across the organisation, you will coordinate content, manage publication schedules, and turn ideas, updates, and achievements into clear and engaging communications.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys writing, editing, and storytelling. Your work will help strengthen communication across Scouts WA while showcasing the achievements, adventures, and positive impact of Scouting in the community.

Key Focus Areas: 

• Plan, write, edit, and publish newsletters, articles, reports, website content, and campaign materials.
• Coordinate contributors, approvals, deadlines, and publication schedules to ensure content is delivered on time.
• Transform technical or detailed information into clear, accessible, and engaging content for a range of audiences.
• Work with communication, marketing, social media, and media production teams to share content across multiple channels.
• Maintain editorial standards, templates, and publishing processes that support consistency and quality across Scouts WA communications.
