We’re introducing a new role, to help improve the recruitment process for members (adult volunteers and youth members).

As many of you know, we have a large list of enquiries for youth members, who are keen to join Scouts, however need to increase our capacity by increasing our Adult Volunteer Leader numbers.

As this role is the Recruitment Coordinator for Scouts WA, it requires a person who enjoys:

  • Interacting with a diverse range of with stakeholders/members (including volunteers during nonstandard working hours)
  • Managing a broad range of tasks and prioritising to ensure the most important things are completed, through good time management
  • Leading information sessions, and other small – medium group conversations, using influential speaking skills
  • Being member focused, and having empathy for people in a broad range of volunteer roles
  • Learning about a diverse and evolving organisation
  • Using technology, collaboration, and clear communication to develop and implement simple, accessible, efficient solutions to members and organisational challenges.
