Scouting Adventure Course – August
Scouting Adventure will prepare the new Adult Leader for the great outdoors! Scouts have a huge program of Outdoor Adventure Skills covering nine areas.
The self-paced on demand modules focus on equipping a new Leader to lead in the three core areas of Bushcraft, Bushwalking and Camping.

Scouting Adventure On Demand learning modules must be completed before submitting your registration. You will be withdrawn from the course if these are not complete at the time of registration and can re-register after all are completed.

SA GUIDE – Plan and Guide Outdoor Activities
SA IMPACT – Minimal Environment Impact Practices
SA WEATHER – Interpreting Weather
SA GROUP – Group Facilitation
SA EMERG A – Responding to Emergencies
SA OUTDOOR PLAN – Planning for Outdoor Activities
Not everything can be learnt online. After the new Leader has the theoretical knowledge from these modules, they will need to complete a face-to-face Scouting Adventure. The prerequisites to attend are completion of the above modules and having attended and Completed Scouting Essentials Course.
Once all pre requisites are met, please register for the Scouting Adventure course. Please ensure you are entering your Group Leader to endorse your registration. Your Group Leader will be sent an authorisation email to confirm you can attend the course and have met all prerequisites.
If you would like to request assistance for Regional Travel or Fuel reimbursement for Regional Members, please ensure that you submit the updated TR2 form to [email protected] before the Course Registration Close to be eligible.
