This month the Youth Radio STEM Club (aka Advanced Workshops) is going wide and free.

We’re running a competition – the inaugural Scout Halls On The Air. And there will be a prize to the highest scoring Scout Hall (that has a Venturer/Scout operator)

Sunday 27th July 2025 from 2pm to 4pm at a Scout Hall of your choice.

The idea is that you set up an Amateur Radio station in or near your hall and make contact (via Amateur Radio) with as many other Scout Halls as possible.

You can set up a station in your hall, a portable station outside your hall, or operate from a car in the car park of your hall.

You can operate solo, or with others in a patrol. Make sure you check with your leaders and parent/guardian and let them know what your plan is.
