This is a two-day expedition up the Canning River from Waylen Bay Scout Hall in Applecross to Royal St, Kenwick.

You will carry all your camping gear and food in your canoes. You will camp overnight at Canning Scout Hall.

You will be paddling approx. 10km each day. Some canoeing experience is advised; this is not an event for people who have never paddled before.

The Scouts WA Paddle Team will supply Qualified Activity Leaders for the event. This is an opportunity for ALL Scouts to do a two-day expedition.

The Paddle Team can help any groups who need to borrow canoes but the sooner you ask, the more likely we can help.

This event can also count as a PD Course for any leaders working on Canoeing qualification.
