This is a two-day expedition up the Canning River from the Waylen Bay Sea Scout Hall in Applecross to Royal St, Kenwick.

You will carry all your camping gear and food in your canoes. You will camp overnight at the Canning Sea Scout Hall.

You will be paddling approx. 10km each day. Some canoeing experience is advised; this is not an event for people who have never paddled before.

The Scouts WA Paddle Team will supply Qualified Activity Leaders for the event. This is an opportunity for ALL Scouts, Venturers and Rovers to do a two-day expedition.

Youth cost: $40

The Paddle Team can help any groups who need to borrow canoes but the sooner you ask, the more likely we can help.

This event will also include a PD for any leaders working on or maintaining a Canoeing qualification.
