Scouts WA is looking for Group Leaders to join Denmark, Eastern Hills, and Cape Naturaliste Scout Groups.

Lead a local Scout Group and help shape positive experiences for young people in your community. As a Group Leader, you will support a team of volunteers to deliver fun, adventurous, and meaningful Scouting programs while helping the Group grow and thrive.

Working with Youth Program Leaders, parents, the Group Support Committee, and the wider Scouting community, you will provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure young people have access to safe, engaging, and high-quality Scouting opportunities.

This is a rewarding leadership role where you can make a lasting difference by developing volunteers, strengthening community connections, and helping young people gain skills, confidence, and lifelong memories through Scouting.

Key Focus Areas: 

• Lead and support the volunteer team to deliver a safe, inclusive, and engaging Scouting program.
• Recruit, support, and develop adult volunteers to build a strong and sustainable Scout Group.
• Work with the Group Support Committee to oversee planning, finances, and Group resources.
• Build positive relationships with families, local organisations, and the wider community.
• Promote Scouting locally and support the growth and long-term success of the Scout Group.
