Group Leaders are crucial to the success of Scouting and we are currently seeking interest from individual interested in joining our volunteer team at Mullaloo Sea Scouts.
As a Leader, you have access to a wide variety of resources, training and support, and the fulfilling experience of mentoring and developing youth members through the Scouts Youth Leading Adults Supporting program.

Contribute and engage deeply with your communities through our Youth Leading Adult Supporting development program. As a leader, guide and mentor youth members through organised experiences and activities so they learn about ethics, values and service to others.
What do Sea Scouts do?
Sea Scouts participate, and learn to lead, a range of fantastic activities like sailing, canoeing, kayaking, boating, abseiling, rock climbing, caving, camping and hiking. There is no limit.

How Scouts benefits young people
Scouting offers young people the opportunity to learn many new skills and to participate in activities that they may never have had the opportunity to do. They learn about leadership and also how to work within a team. Through planning and execution of activities they learn about organsiation and delegation, and also about being adaptable as not everything goes to plan all of the time. The skills that Scouts learn can be applied in their lives outside of Scouting.
