DESCRIPTION:HLTAID011 Provide First Aid \nThis nationally recognised first aid qualification gives Scouts\, Venturers\, Rovers\, Leaders and Adult Members the essential skills to respond confidently in an emergency. Participants learn how to assess situations using DRSABCD\, perform CPR on adults and infants\, use an AED\, and provide first aid for common injuries and medical conditions including bleeding\, burns\, fractures\, asthma\, anaphylaxis\, choking\, shock\, seizures and more. \nThe course is suitable for anyone aged 13+\, with youth members supported according to Scouts WA requirements. It includes an online pre‑learning component followed by a 3hr practical session. On completion\, members receive a Statement of Attainment for: \nHLTAID011 Provide First Aid\nHLTAID010 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support\nHLTAID009 Provide CPR \nThis training strengthens safety across all sections and prepares members to respond effectively during Scouting activities\, camps\, adventurous events\, and community service. \nRegistrations are in ScoutMap at R-004340 and close on 5 October. \nCost $75 \nEmail your USI after registering to daryn.tisson@scoutswa.com.au
