DESCRIPTION:Eligibility – Scouts\, Training Team Members.\nMax numbers – 36 participants \nLeadership and personal development are important parts of not only growing as a person but also the Scouting program. Courses give Scouts opportunities to talk with others who are following a similar path. \nLeadership and personal development courses assist Scouts to: \n\nLearn personal and leadership skills\nBecome active citizens\nLearn new ways of thinking or approaches\nConfirm learning from experiences\nShare with peers\nReflect on individual leadership experiences and development\n\nLeadership and personal development courses will cover some or most of the following concepts: \n\nProblem solving\nCommunication\nTask management\nLeadership\nPlanning\nCommunity involvement\n\nThis course is designed for the Scout who has obtained their milestone 1 and Scouts who are aged 12 years or older would get most benefit from this course.\nFor Scouts who are trying to achieve their ASA then this course needs to be done before the turn 14 so they then have time to finish off the various components needed. \nCost is $50 per youth. \nRegister through ScoutMap HERE.
