DESCRIPTION:**SESSION RESERVED** \nEligibility – Scouts\, Venturer Scouts\, Rover Scouts\, Leaders & Adult Members\nMax numbers – 10 participants (minimum of 4 participants required) \nLearn to exit and re-enter Kayak\, roll a Kayak with a paddle\, roll a Kayak without a paddle. \nThe Activity will begin with a brief and end with a review. Participants are required to wear a rashie and boardies. \nCost: Entry fee to pool – $7 participants MUST visit the Aquatic Office to pay gate entry before they enter the water. SUMMARY:Operation Nighthawk
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Operation Nighthawk 2024 \nAre you ready to test your skills in scouting and work as part of a team where you will use co-ordinates and instructional maps to navigate approximately 10km over unfamiliar grounds at night\, completing activity bases and earning points that result in the winner receiving a perpetual trophy? \nThis year Nighthawk will run in Jurien Bay\, approximately 2 hours north of Perth\, over the weekend of 27-28 July. \nThe event is open to Scouts as well as Cub Scouts who have achieved Stage 3 Outdoor Adventure Skills Bushcraft. All Cub Scout teams will be required to have a Venturer with them at all times whilst on the course. \nWhile we are transitioning to ScoutMap\, registrations for Cub and Scout participants will be taken through Trybooking. Registrations are now open\, please use the registration link here. \nThe Participant Fee is $40 per person. No payment will be taken during the booking process\, Scout Groups will be invoiced for all registrations. As registrations are not running through ScoutMap\, Leaders will be able to register their members and will be required to have parents complete a Y3 for each participant. \nRegistrations for Supervising Leaders\, Base Staff\, Venturers assisting Cub Teams\, and Event Team members can be made through ScoutMap here. All participants must be registered through Trybooking using the link above.
