DESCRIPTION:Eligibility – Scouts\, Venturer Scouts\, Rover Scouts\nMax numbers – 20 participants (minimum of 4 participants required) \nSkill Stations: Participants move through guided activities such as fitting and clearing masks\, mastering the “blast method” for clearing snorkels\, and practicing efficient finning techniques. \nSafety Training: Instructor lead briefings on water safety\, buddy systems\, and underwater hand signals. \nProvided: masks\, snorkels and fins\, though participants are allowed to bring their own if suitable. \nThe Activity will begin with a briefing and end with a review. Participants are required to wear a rashie and boardies. \nCost: Entry fee to pool – $7.20\, participants MUST visit the Aquatic Office to pay gate entry before they enter the water. DESCRIPTION:Patrol-Alone Style Cooking & Camping Competition \nPatrols are required to plan their own program & menu for the weekend. \nPatrols can choose to do a Facilitated Activity if they wish. If so\, select registration Type 1.\nIf your patrol does not wish to plan a Facilitated Activity into your program\, select registration Type 2.\n**all members of your patrol MUST register as the same participant type** \nThere are two participant registration types: \n1. (Scout or Venturer) Participant incl. Facilitated Activity ($50)\nPatrols can choose from the following options:\n• Archery\n• Climbing Wall\n• High Ropes\n• Mountain Biking\nWhen registering for this participant type\, include preferred activity in team name (team name example: The Bushrangers – archery) \n2. (Scout or Venturer) Participant NOT incl. Facilitated Activity ($35) \nSupporting Leader ($10)\nIncludes camping fees\, badge & food for the weekend.\nLeaders will be camping separate from patrols & will be given a role for the weekend.\nDue to the nature of the event\, there is a limit of one leader per patrol. If more than one leader per patrol registers\, extras will be asked to deregister – so please save us the work & only register one leader per patrol. \nPatrols do not have to have a leader from their group attend the event.\nPatrols should have 5-8 youth.
