SUMMARY:Swan Descent 2026
DESCRIPTION:Swan Descent is a one-day paddling expedition starting at Middle Swan Reserve in Middle Swan and finishing at Fishmarket Reserve in Guildford covering a distance of around 8km.\nThis event is perfect for groups who have done some paddling already and want to expand their skills with a longer paddle.\nIt is open to all Scouts\, Venturers\, Rovers and Leaders. Each group needs to have a supporting leader that is paddling. The Scouts WA Adventurous Activities Paddle Team will provide qualified Activity Leaders. \nTime: 8:00am – 3pm \nSwan Descent will also include a PD for any Venturers\, Rovers and Leaders working on\, or maintaining\, a Scouts WA Canoeing qualification. \nRegistrations are now open in ScoutMap at R-003142 and close March 1st.
