DESCRIPTION:Scouting Leadership Course – July \nScouting Leadership training builds upon the skills and knowledge gained during previous training and provides the opportunity to apply this learning in a practical environment.\nThe Scouting Leadership training consists of:\nOn-Demand Learning\nOn-the-Job Learning\nA face-to-face Scouting Leadership course\nA project \n*Registrations close 4pm July 2\, 2027. Register through ScoutMap\, or HERE. If you are experiencing difficulties registering\, please contact training@scoutswa.com.au prior to registrations closing* \nAs part of the course\, participants will initiate a project of approximately 10 hours\, developed with a specific aim and clear goals for achievement. This project leverages the learning gained during the Scouting Leadership course. \nUpon completion of the project\, this will be reviewed by their Team Leader (typically their GL). Participants will submit their Leadership On-the-Job Statement after project completion. This will typically be reviewed by the participant’s Next Up Team Leader. Following this review\, the Next-Up Team Leader (usually the District Commissioner or Regional Commissioner\, if they hold a Wood Badge) will approve the submission as the final Wood Badge Evaluation step\, in line with National Adult Training and Development Policies. \nUpon successful completion of the Scouting Leadership training\, including project completion and On-the-Job Statement approval\, leaders will receive:\nThe Wood Badge (wooden beads)\nA Parchment\nThe Gilwell Scarf (signifying international membership in the 1st Gilwell Park Scout Group) \nif you would like to request assistance for Regional Travel or Fuel Reimbursement for Regional Members please ensure that you submit the updated TR2 form to training@scoutswa.com.au before the Course Registration Close to be eligible. \nAdult and Leader Training – Scouts WA\nhttps://scoutswa.com.au/adult-and-leader-training/ \nTR2 Form\nhttps://acrobat.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:ap:cc6668f8-5eec-49c2-9f96-65dd3b1937b9
