DESCRIPTION:Scouting Management Course – September \nAs a manager in Scouting\, in addition to a thorough understanding of the youth program\, the Adult Leader in a management role will need some specific skills and knowledge to do their job effectively.\nAfter the Leader has the theoretical knowledge from these on demand modules\, they will need to complete a face-to-face Scouting Management course. \nThe following online modules can be found at training.scouts.com.au \nScouting Management On Demand Modules:\nB LOA – Basic Leader of Adults\nALOA – Advanced Leader of Adults\nACORE SAFE – Advanced Scoutsafe \nTo register for this course\, you must have attended and Completed the Scouting Essentials Course & completed all the above modules. Your registration will be withdrawn if the above requirements are not completed at the time of your registration. You will be able to re-register after these have been completed. \nOnce all prerequisites are met\, please register for the Scouting Management course. Please ensure you are entering your Group Leader to endorse your registration. DESCRIPTION:Scouting Essentials Course – September \n  \nEligibility – Rover Scouts\, Leaders\, Volunteers \nMax numbers – 24 participants \nScouting Essentials are the ‘survival skills’ for an Adult Leader. They explain how the youth Achievement Pathways work\, how to operate a youth led program\, the Patrol System\, youth empowerment and some initial leadership skills training. \n*Registrations close 4pm August 21 2026\, or when the course has reached capacity. Once capacity has been reached\, a waitlist will be established. You must have completed all the required On-Demand Learning Modules before you are added onto the waitlist. You will not be offered a spot if one becomes available and the pre-requisites have not been met. \nRegistrations through ScoutMap or HERE. If you are experiencing difficulties registering\, please contact training@scoutswa.com.au prior to registrations closing* \nScouting Preliminary and Scouting Essentials On Demand learning modules must be completed before submitting your registration.
