DESCRIPTION:Scouting Essentials Course – August \n  \nEligibility – Rover Scouts\, Leaders\, Volunteers \nMax numbers – 24 participants \nScouting Essentials are the ‘survival skills’ for an Adult Leader. They explain how the youth Achievement Pathways work\, how to operate a youth led program\, the Patrol System\, youth empowerment and some initial leadership skills training. \n*Registrations close 4pm July 17 2026\, or when the course has reached capacity. Once capacity has been reached\, a waitlist will be established. You must have completed all the required On-Demand Learning Modules before you are added onto the waitlist. You will not be offered a spot if one becomes available and the pre-requisites have not been met. Register through ScoutMap HERE. If you are experiencing difficulties registering\, please contact training@scoutswa.com.au prior to registrations closing* \nScouting Preliminary and Scouting Essentials On Demand learning modules must be completed before submitting your registration. You will be withdrawn from the course if these are not complete at the time of registration and can re-register after all are completed. \nThere are two parts to Scouting Essentials. Scouts have a huge program of Outdoor Adventure Skills covering nine areas. \nThe self-paced on demand modules focus on equipping a new Leader to lead in the three core areas of Bushcraft\, Bushwalking and Camping. \n*Registrations close 4pm July 17 2026. Register through ScoutMap HERE. If you are experiencing difficulties registering\, please contact training@scoutswa.com.au prior to registrations closing* \nScouting Adventure On Demand learning modules must be completed before submitting your registration.
