Branch Leader Scouts International Student Exchange Program

Are you interested in looking wide and stepping into a new role dedicated to Venturer Scouts and International Scouting? There is a vacancy in the WA Branch International Team to fill – the Branch Leader for the Scouts International Student Exchange Program (BL SISEP). SISEP is an exchange program run by Scouts Australia and our partner countries, Japan and Denmark. The program is targeted towards our older Venturer Scouts between 15 and 17 years old. SISEP consists of our Australian families hosting for about 6 weeks in July-August, and then our Australian Venturers travelling to their chosen country for about 7 weeks in November-January.

The Branch Leader for SISEP is responsible for promoting the program, interviewing candidates, preparing our Venturers and their families for hosting and travel, and proving welfare support to youth throughout the whole journey, among other things including supporting the WA Branch International Team.

As SISEP works towards being a Nationally Accredited Student Exchange Program, this role will entail further training opportunities.
