National General Manager - Scouts Australia:
This is a role for a dynamic, inspirational team leader who is ready to draw on their experience to “give something back”. By nature, you will be easy going, patient, mature, collegiate - a people person, sensitive to the widely varying status and motivation of the stakeholders you serve and work with, executives and volunteers alike. Your success will depend on influencing and persuading rather than clearly defined authority and an ability to be pro-active and flexible in an environment of substantial change. Great communications and presentation skills are a must.
Not a nine-to-five job, the line between professional duties and volunteering your time is frequently blurred. Superior project, logistical, financial and campaign management will be essential. You will be forward thinking and strategic, committed to implementing efficiencies and continuous improvement.
In addition you will represent the organisation in its dealings with government, corporate partners, the public and the media and preferably have experience in research based marketing and brand communications to further engage with the constituency.
