2015 Scouts WA Youth Awardees
On Sunday the 28th Feb 2016 Scouts WA celebrated the 2015 Australian Scout Medallion Awardees, Queens Scout Awardees, and Baden-Powell Scout Awardees plus three outstanding youth members who were presented Chief Commissioner Awards. The Governor and Chief Scout of Western Australia, Kerry Sanderson was on hand to present the QSA & BPSAs and The Chief Commissioner with the Hon Tony Simpson Presented the CCA and ASMs. Congratulations and bravo to the following awardees.2015 Scouts WA Youth Awardees

P1-Annual Online Asset Review, Property Inspection and Verification Reminder
The 31 March deadline for submission of your online P1 form is fast approaching and at this stage, many Groups have not submitted their forms. All of your information is pre-filled on MyScout and if there have been no changes since the 2015 submission, all you need to do is sign off and save accordingly. Instructions on how to perform the inspection and verification can be found by clicking here. Thank you to the Groups who have already completed their P1. This information is required for insurance purposes. Groups which do not comply risk increasing premium for all Groups. Please do the right thing!
Rottnest Invasion Scouts Registration 2016
Rottnest Invasion is on again and its now time to book. If you are a member of the Scout Section, and interested in heading over to Rottnest to do some environmental then this is once a year event is for you! Places are limited to 100 Scouts and 20 Leaders. Due to the restricted numbers only two patrols (of 6) from each Group are able to attend. Scouts and Leaders will be camping so each patrol and Leader will need to supply their own tent and food for the weekend.
Rottnest Invasion will cost $85 for Scouts and $50 for Leaders. This includes ferry fees & camping fees. Bike hire is NOT included. Download the registration form here.

Senior First Aid Courses 2016
The first Senior First Aid Course programmed for 2016 is happening at Rockingham Scout Hall Sunday 22 May 2016. Seminar-Wellbeing of CALD Children and Young People
The Commissioner is hosting a free seminar to outline the key themes raised by children and young people from CALD backgrounds in the office’s recent consultation and discuss what this means for programs and services that support their wellbeing.
